The Power grid substation automation is moving toward virtualization. In order to facilitate this transition, it is necessary to have a reference design an open source real-time platform that can run automation and protection applications. That is why RTE, Alliander and Savoir-faire Linux created the SEAPATH project under the governance of the Linux Foundation Energy. SEAPATH aims to an industrial grade which includes providing and meeting many requirements in many fields such as security, real-time performances, latency, resilience etc ... This talk will first introduce the SEAPATH project and then present the testing process that is currently in place. This part will go through the creation of a test scenario, the actual implementation and continuous integration.
